MY STORY...

I'd been drinking since I was 17. Drugs followed in my early twenties. For years it just felt normal, it was what everyone did, it was who I was, it was the thing to do.

It wasn't until my late twenties, early thirties, that it got out of hand. And even then, I didn't see it. That's the thing nobody tells you, when you're in it, it feels like life. It's only when you do the work that you look back and see it for what it really was.

Six or seven years ago, I attempted suicide. Twice.

On the outside, I was the life and soul. Big group of mates, out every weekend. Inside, I was dying. My family were paying the price. My career was paying the price. My health was paying the price.

After leaving hospital, I knew something had to change. I found my way to NA and AA sessions, stopped drinking, and from there, one step at a time, everything started to shift.

I'm now six years sober.

Over those years I've worked with life coaches and personal trainers, done the inner work, and kept showing up for myself. I'm a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer and Mental Health First Aider, and I'm currently working towards a new certification, a coaching programme focused on identity, purpose, and breaking through the patterns that keep men stuck.

I didn't build Terra from a textbook. I built it from experience, the hard kind.

Terra exists for people who are done feeling crap. Who want a different route. Who are ready to do the work but need someone in their corner who genuinely gets it.

That's me. I'm here.
